Obit Orrin McManus, newspaper (unknown) clipping, Orrin McManus. Orrin McManus of 128 Kenyon avenue, aged 82 years, died suddenly at 10 o’clock this forenoon of apoplexy.
Mrs. McManus who is 81 years old, is an invalid, and while Mr. McManus was doing the work about the house he complained of not feeling well and started to lie down on a lounge near his wife, who is bedfast. Mrs. McManus noticed that he had collapsed, and succeeded in attracting the attention of Mrs. Fred Pyle, who lives just north of the McManus home, who came and announced that she believed Mr. McManus was already dead. However, a Physician was summoned and neighbours were called in. The physician said Mr. McManus died almost immediately after he was stricken.
Mr. McManus was born in Meadsville, Pa, on January 25 1841, moving from there to a farm in Lagrange county two miles from Howe. Thirty five years ago he came to this city and followed the vocation of a carpenter as long as he was able to work.
